Adding an image to your exhibit landing page
Here is the code to add an image to your exhibit landing page.
Open the html and place the code below. Fill in the information between the quotes (leave the quotes). To better explain, I’ve creating a screencast showing you how to do it. Here is the tutorial: https://youtu.be/nzyxGoG6ii0 . Let us know if you have questions.
Code for embedding a linked image into a page.
<p><a href=”URL of page you want to link to”>
<img border=”0″ src=”URL that links to the full image(this is what will show up)” width=”300″ height=”300″></a></p>
For example, if I want to add an image from SMCM, I might do this:
<p><a href=”http://www.carmichaeldigitalprojects.org/industrialamerica/items/show/139″>
<img border=”0″ src=”http://www.carmichaeldigitalprojects.org/industrialamerica/files/original/cad14e8cb08b58ab0b033bd80530cd34.JPG” width=”300″ height=”300″></a></p>

Citation:
Use Chicago Style.
Using notes and bibliography style, you can indicate in-text citations with a number in a bracket (as we agreed on in class). For example, use [1] for your first in-text citation.
Here is help for citing archival materials in Chicago Style from Purdue University.
